Appreciate your work Reaver Step by step TUNNGLE instructions for host and client (assuming you have red river installed and the latest ): First of all go to the Operation Flashpoint Red River Tunngle lobby. Run Teknohelper. If you are the host, click Automatic Mode (Host) and wait for the beeps to finish then run the game. If you are connecting to a host, click Automatic Mode (client) and wait for the beeps to finish then run the game. As the host, you need to set up LAN mode properly. Let's assume you are playing campaign mode. Select Campaign mode, and before you start the game you must open the game lobby by pressing TAB. Now press F1 for hosting options, change the session type to LAN and then PRESS ENTER! That last part is important. ![]() If you don't press ENTER, it won't actually create a LAN session at all. Ok so now you have a session up, people can connect. If you are a client, here's what you do. From the main menu, go to join game. Make sure that session type is set to LAN (it's at the bottom of the filter list on screen). Now select Browse Servers. You will see all of the Tunngle servers currently running. Before you try to connect, you have to press the F12 key. You should hear a voice say 'Working'. If you don't hear the voice, press F12 again. When you do hear it, join the game of your choosing and as soon as it connects press F12 again until you hear a voice say 'Transfer Complete'. Sometimes you have to press F12 more than once to get the 'Transfer Complete' message. It's all about timing here. If you are too fast pressing F12 the second time, it will fail. If you are too slow it will fail. Remember the order is F12, Join game, F12, and you're done. The host never has to press F12 at all, only the clients must do this. When you eventually get the timing right, you can play the game. I try to do host and try my friend too but always we receive this message. Can you help me guys! Thank you so much! That one bar is the clue. ![]() For some reason you have a really bad connection between each other. Do you live near to each other? If you do, there's something on your PC or router that is blocking or restricting the connection. Check your pings between each other on Tunngle by joining an empty tunngle lobby and then opening up a command prompt: Windows 7, press the windows key and then type CMD and press enter. In the black box type ping example if your friends tunngle ip is 7.7.7.7 type ping 7.7.7.7 if the ping is really high (more than 150ms) then you have a problem with distance or the pc/router is blocking the signal at one or both ends. Windows vista is the same instructions as windows 7 Windows XP, click start, then click run and type cmd and press enter. If the message is 'request timed out' then you have something blocking the signal, either a router or PC firewall is stopping it. When I ping my friends on Tunngle I get pings from 55ms to 120ms depending on who I ping. One of them could not ping me when he first installed it (got the request timed out message) and it turned out to be the windows firewall blocking it. If you use windows 7, its tricky to disable the firewall properly. The easiest way to make Tunngle work right is to set it to a Public Network, and then disable firewall for public networks so your normal Lan is still firewalled: To set this up right, click Windows Firewall Properties, go to the public profile tab and switch off the firewall. Then click customize and untick ALL boxes. Also, go to the domain profile and the private profile, click customize each time and untick the Tunngle adapter in both of those too. Finally, go to network and sharing centre and change your Tunngle connection to a public network. You shouldn't have any more windows firewall problems now, if you did before I can't remember the process for changing Windows XP firewall settings off the top of my head, so you will have to search around for that if you use XP.
